What can I expect when I join?
BBE will begin to process a new client when we receives a signed copy of the BBE client Application and Agreement and a signed Form W-9. BBE will not proceed until we have verified on the IRS website Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) On-Line Matching
that the client has provided BBE with the correct federal name and tax identification number.
The outside sales representative will give the new client an introductory packet that explains the basic of bartering with 3-part forms and return envelopes when the client joins. Clients that join online will be sent this packet via mail within five business days.
New clients should give 10-15 business cards and brochures to display on the BBE Showroom inside the BBE office. The new client’s business cards will be immediately displayed to all clients that come to the BBE office.
New clients will receive an introductory call from a BBE barter broker within five business days. The BBE barter brokers will review the new client’s company contact information and description of the products and services that you offered for 100% barter for the BBE Marketplace. The BBE barter broker will give the new client their BBE account number via phone. As soon as the new client receives their account number, the client can register in the BBE Marketplace.
The BBE barter brokers will enter in the email addresses of all authorized barter card holder to receive the “Barter Loop” of broadcast email within five business days.
BBE will program the new client’s company name and account number in the BBE 24-hour authorization system within five business days. The BBE office administrator will mail new clients an introductory letter that explains the “who’s who” and the duties of the BBE staff within five business days.
BBE will post the new client’s business listings in the BBE Marketplace within five business days.
BBE will advertise the new client on a broadcast email within ten business days.
BBE will advertise the new client on BBE Marketplace’s homepage “Spotlight” within ten business days for at least a 24-hour period.
BBE will advertise the new client as a “Featured Member” on BBE’s Marketplace homepage for at least 30 days. This will occur within 10 business days.
The BBE barter brokers will begin telemarketing the new client to participating BBE clients in their monthly telephone service calls to existing BBE clients for at least one full month.
Each new client is entitled to have nine (9) pictures for each company listing in the BBE Marketplace. If a new client has specific pictures that they want featured on their company profile, please email them to BBE
. If clients do not send the pictures via email, the BBE staff will automatically upload image from the client’s website and/or BBE will upload free Internet images that represent the client’s type of business. If the client does not provide these images for BBE to upload, then BBE reserves the right to minimize the photo selection to one or two images. BBE will not knowingly upload images that do not belong to the said client.
The BBE office administrator will mail the new client barter cards for each of the authorized spenders within ten business days.
