Please contact the BBE Director of Sales Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at the BBE office at (919) 469-5538, via cell phone at (919) 796-6767 or email BBE if you have any questions. What can I expect when I join? BBE will begin to process a new client when we receive a signed copy of the BBE Client Application and Agreement and a signed Form W-9. BBE will mail the new client an introductory packet that explains the basic of bartering. The packet will have an introductory letter with the client's account number, barter cards for all authorized spenders, instructions for logging into the BBE online membership directory, and instructions for entering the client's credit card or debit card information into BBE's PCI compliant software. New clients will receive an introductory call from a BBE representative. BBE will give the new client their BBE account number via phone. As soon as the new client receives their account number, the client can log in online to begin trading. BBE will review the new client’s company contact information and description of the products and services that are offered for 100% barter for the BBE online membership directory. BBE will post the new client’s business listings in the BBE online membership directory during the introductory call to enable the client to make edits to their company descriptions in live time. BBE clients can have multiple business listed on the BBE online membership directory free of charge. If a client has specific pictures that they want featured on their company profile, the client can edit their descriptions and upload photos online or email BBE to upload the photos. If clients do not send the pictures via email, the BBE staff will automatically upload image from the client’s website and/or upload free Internet images that represent the client’s type of business. BBE will not knowingly upload images that do not belong to the said client. BBE will advertise the new client on a broadcast email within a week. Client will be advertised once per month for at least three (3) consecutive months. BBE will enter in the email addresses of all authorized barter card holders who will receive the broadcast emails three times per week. The BBE staff will begin telemarketing the new client to participating BBE clients in their monthly telephone service calls to existing BBE clients for at least one full month. Many of our members prefer to bypass the online directory to speak to a live human being for all of their barter needs. Clients can always call the BBE office Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm or email BBE for assistance. How do I apply for a larger credit line? To apply for a larger credit line (barter dollar loan), please email BBE or call the office at (919) 469-5538 and a BBE representative will email you an application. Why do I need to fill out a Form W-9? BBE is required by law to verify that we have the correct Business Name and Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) or Social Security Number (SSN) for each client that receives a 1099-B.
